Emote Tweaks (Emotecraft Team Continuation)
About Emote Sound Effects
This project is a fork of the existing EmoteTweaks modification that has been redesigned to support multiple loaders and is now compatible with Minecraft version 1.21 and above.
The main mod function is automatic playback of .wav sound files when using emotes. To activate this feature, simply place audio files in the dedicated "emotes" folder, naming them exactly the same as the corresponding in-game emotions.
Additional Configuration
The animation JSON files now include the ability to control emotion cancellation when crouching. To use this feature, add a boolean variable called crouchCancel which determines whether the emote will be interrupted by crouching or will continue regardless.
Development Prospects
The developers are considering integration with other voice chat systems. If you're interested in support for a particular voice chat mod, share your suggestions on the authors' Discord server.
Required Dependencies
For proper operation, Emote Tweaks requires the following mods:
- EmoteCraft (emotion foundation)
- SimpleVoiceChat (provides sound effect functionality)
Acknowledgments
