Shop Finder for Empire Minecraft Server

This modification was specifically designed for players of Empire Minecraft (play.emc.gs) and doesn't function on other servers.

If you've ever struggled to find rare items in EMC shops or spent hours searching for the best deals, this tool will become your indispensable assistant. While regular oak planks can be easily found at fair prices anywhere, the situation changes when you need unique items or large resource volumes.

How does it work? As you walk through towns and settlements, the mod automatically scans shop signs around you, recording information about goods and prices in its own database. When you need to find a specific item, simply open the in-game interface (default # key), enter the item name, and get a complete list of matching products.

Click on the desired item - and you'll see a list of shops sorted by price. Each entry contains details: buy/sell prices, available quantity, residence name, and precise coordinates. Server and residence links allow instant teleportation to the required location, while coordinates are compatible with JourneyMap, VoxelMap, and Xaero Minimap - one click sets a waypoint.

After installing Forge and this mod, start by visiting your regular shops to populate the database. Don't forget to explore new trading spots (/v +shop, /v +mall), taking breaks between visits to complete the scanning process.

Special Cases and Updates

The mod analyzes only available information, so enchanted items and [CHOOSE] chests require your participation. Mysterious Potion-9skdfh remains unknown until you open the corresponding chest. When visiting a shop with [CHOOSE], be sure to click the sign - this updates the database with chest contents.

Version 1.6 introduced item renaming functionality that solves the problem of non-standard names on signs. Create a translation file in the config folder, specifying correspondences like "Pine Log=Spruce", and search becomes more accurate. Java regular expressions are supported for advanced users.

Data relevance is ensured by automatic removal of outdated entries. Configure a period of 21 days in settings to see only recent offers without losing low-activity but functioning shops with [CHOOSE] chests.

Experimental GUI Size Features

For users with enlarged interface settings, special options are available. The mod can temporarily switch scale when opened or attempt to display the interface in available space. These functions require cautious use.
