Embers Rekindled
Embers Rekindled offers a unique fusion of technological and magical elements with an underground dwarven workshop aesthetic. The mod provides diverse content including ore doubling, item transportation, alchemical research, and creation of magical ray weapons. The entire system is built around Ember - a special form of energy that must be extracted from the world's deep layers near bedrock.

To begin your adventure, you'll need to find and defeat an Ancient Golem. Resources obtained from it will allow you to craft the Ancient Codex, which will become your main guide through all aspects of the mod.
The Minecraft 1.20.1 version retains the core concept of the original 1.12.2 version but contains numerous significant changes. The Codex has been completely updated to reflect all innovations, so even experienced players are recommended to study its contents carefully.
Main Changes in the New Version
The emitter and receiver connection system has been simplified - Shift-clicking is no longer required and the interaction order has changed. All non-full blocks support waterlogging. Ember receptors no longer display fill status when reaching half capacity, ensuring stable operation over long distances.
The mechanical core and machine accessor have been merged into a single block. The storage container is now crafted from lead, which logically relates to its transport functions. Visual indicators in the codex have been replaced with dawnstone dots for incomplete entries.
The centrifuge-mixer received side holes to display contained fluids. Beam splitters lost their internal ember buffer and now directly distribute incoming energy, and can also be placed on walls. Stamping machines automatically stop when the output container is full.
The alchemy system has been completely redesigned - now you need to match aspects with ingredients, and alchemical waste provides hints based on the "Mastermind" game principle. Ember injectors can be placed up to one block away from crystal seeds, allowing efficient resource collection.
Metallic crystal seeds now generate in small ruins instead of being craftable, and their type can be changed using alchemical recipes. Catalytic plugs operate on steam or dwarven gas, as do wildfire stirling engines. Limitations on most machine upgrades have been removed, but their effectiveness decreases when exceeding a certain amount.
Machine upgrades can be transmitted through mechanical cores over distances up to three blocks, with most modifications losing effectiveness with distance. The field chart now allows switching between displaying current and base ember levels. Atmospheric gauges can be placed in the world, and comparators can read their readings.
Resistances from inflictor gems now stack across all armor pieces. Caminite rings always place in the center regardless of interaction point. Recipes for creating item and fluid transfers now produce three units instead of one.
The question mark in the lower left corner of the codex glows to attract attention. Ember production generates only a quarter of steam, preventing instant boiler explosions in pressure refineries. The beam cannon requires at least 1000 ember units to fire - the same amount needed to initiate alchemical processes. The cinder staff and blazing ray allow movement at normal speed while charging, though sprinting is still blocked.
