Embellished Enchanting

The Embellished Enchanting mod enhances the gaming experience by adding various powerful but rare enchantments to Minecraft. Most of them can be obtained in the standard way through the enchanting table, although their appearance chance is lower than that of basic enchantments. Some are available only as treasures or exclusively through looting. All enchantments can be disabled or their rarity changed through the configuration file.

Standard Enchantments

Decay - Attacks apply the wither effect for a short time

Hex - Full-strength attacks deal additional magic damage equal to a percentage of the target's health. Maximum damage is limited to 20 units

Stun - Temporarily deprives the target of the ability to move

Grappling - Crossbow shots pull the target toward the player

Shattering - Full-strength attacks sometimes deal extra damage, but at the cost of losing part of the weapon's durability

Shockwave - Bow shots deal small area damage when hitting a target

Incisive - Tridents deal additional damage both in melee attacks and when thrown

Voiding - Mined landscape blocks do not drop as items

Treasures

Curse of Deflagration - Items in hands explode when broken

Antigravity - Applies the levitation effect for a short time

Annihilation - Full-strength attacks (very rarely) instantly kill entities. If an entity has maximum health exceeding 100 units, 50 units of magic damage are dealt instead

Loot Only

Thunderbolt - Arrow shots strike the target with lightning

Special Rituals

Immortal - Broken items in hands resurrect in the player's ender chest

Note: For this enchantment to work, there must be a free slot in the ender chest

Using a totem of undying gives a 35% chance to obtain an enchanted book

Death's Knell - Deals permanent damage by reducing the entity's base health

Killing the wither with explosive damage gives a 10% chance of a book appearing out of thin air

Incompatibilities

- Three effect enchantments (stun, antigravity, wither) are mutually exclusive - Hex is incompatible with sharpness and annihilation - Shattering is incompatible with mending
