Embeddium Extras
This is a fork of the MgRbExtras-i18n mod by TexTrue, which itself is a fork of Magnesium/Rubidium Extra by TeamDeusVult. This version will not be ported to other game versions.
Main Changes
Removed Features
- Removed the fog toggle setting as it functions incorrectly and duplicates similar functionality in the Embeddium Extension mod.
- Removed changes to Rubidium/Embeddium's MultidrawChunkRenderBackend that caused chunk flickering in newer versions.
- Excluded borderless fullscreen and true darkness features - recommended to use specialized mods Windowed Fullscreen and Total Darkness.
Added Capabilities
- Integrated features from TDV Tweaks, FastChest, VideoTape, and Clear Skies mods (disabled by default) with corresponding settings in the video menu.
- Updated mixins for compatibility with the latest Rubidium versions, ensuring smooth chunk fade-in.
- Added display of memory usage percentage and gameplay time next to the FPS counter (disabled by default).
- Implemented particle culling based on distance from the player with configurable distance parameter.
- Disabled the warning when first entering the multiplayer menu.
- Removed OpenGL debug messages.
Configuration
- The chunk fade-in quality parameter has been replaced with configurable fade speed for greater flexibility.
- Entity lists: can specify entity registry names that won't be limited by the "Max Entity View Distance" rule.
- Mod lists: can specify ModID so all entities from these mods will always render without distance limitations.
