About the Modification

The "Embedded Computer" mod is an extension for CC: Tweaked that adds an embedded computer with enhanced security and additional useful elements to the game.

Main Features

Embedded Computer - this is a secure headless device that can only be modified when booting from a disk drive. It can be wiped through the peripheral API using the command embeddedPeriph.format(), and can also be locked via security.lock("superSecurePassword"), which prevents formatting until unlocked with embeddedPeriph.unlock("superSecurePassword").

Enhanced Storage Media - Zip Drive and Flash Card. These devices provide significantly larger storage capacity compared to regular floppy disks, although they come at a higher cost.

Hard Drive Block allows connecting a 25 MB storage device to ANY directory. You can mount it to /a or even /mnt/hdd1, but this requires manually calling hddPeriph.mount("/directory/path/here") on every boot and hddPeriph.unmount("/directory/path/here") when you want to unmount them.

Important Warning

NEVER USE ACTUAL PASSWORDS TO LOCK EMBEDDED COMPUTERS!!!

Starting from versions 1.1.0/0.4.0, passwords are hashed, but if you use a real password (even if hashed), the server owner could add code to intercept and steal your password! Do not use passwords that you use for other purposes!!!!
