Elytra Bounce

Elytra Bounce is a minimalist mod that introduces just one, but very useful change to gameplay. It allows you to bounce off the ground while flying with elytra, creating additional momentum without the need for fireworks!

How it works

Everything is extremely simple: when you're flying with elytra, just hold down the jump button as you approach the ground. Your character will bounce off the surface and gain additional impulse to continue flying.

Compatibility and alternatives

If you want to completely eliminate fireworks and make flights more interesting and skill-based, we recommend combining this mod with Aileron.

For Minecraft versions 1.20.1 and 1.21.1, there is a similar mod called Chai's Elytra Enchants that offers comparable functionality.
