Solar Apocalypse
The sun has begun burning heavier fuels and is rapidly increasing in size, heating the world's surface to unbearable temperatures. You'll have to relocate to underground shelters, but there's almost no time for preparation.
Event timeline:
- First day: Urgently gather all plant-based resources (except wood) before they perish from the heat
- Third day and beyond: Any creatures and players under open sky instantly catch fire
- Water exposed to open sky boils and becomes dangerous to touch
Protective materials: For creating safe skylights, use tinted glass or iron glass. Iron glass is crafted by surrounding one iron ingot with eight glass blocks, yielding four protective blocks.
The Nether won't save you either: Due to planetary overheating, the Nether also becomes deadly dangerous. All creatures and items not native to that dimension can only spend limited time there before self-igniting.
Planned Catastrophes
Reality Destabilization: Rifts periodically appear throughout the world, chaotically transforming blocks, spawning random objects, and creating other incredible effects.
Fungal Takeover: Mushroom biomes have broken free from their islands and started infecting everything around. Beware of fungal monsters and environmental hazards.
Rogue Planet: A wandering star passes through the solar system, pushing the world into open space and causing sudden cooling. Prepare to encounter various space objects.
This modification turns familiar Minecraft into an extreme survival simulator where every day could be the last!
