Mod Overview

EffectsLeft is a compact modification that returns the display of potion effects in the inventory to the left side of the screen, as it was before version 1.18. The mod works exclusively on the client side and is compatible with popular interfaces JEI and REI.

Developer coolsim created this mod because the standard effect placement interfered with the proper display of JEI.

Main Features

• Uses Mixin technology to move the effects panel and adjust exclusion zones for JEI and REI
• Supports Programmer Art textures by adding small effect icons from version 1.18
• Client-side implementation allows using the mod on any server
• Built-in update checking system

Community

Players using EffectsLeft can communicate in our Discord community. An alternative Guilded platform is also available for those who prefer it over Discord.

Compatibility

EffectsLeft works only on the client side - installing it on the server will have no effect. A separate version of the mod is available for the Fabric version of the game.

Minecraft Versions

The mod supports all current Minecraft versions starting from 1.18. Porting to older versions is impossible since effects are already displayed on the left in them. Updates for version 1.20 will be released as corresponding Forge versions become available.

License and Modpacks

EffectsLeft can be freely used in any modpacks provided that coolsim's authorship is credited. Redistribution of the mod in any form is prohibited.
