Ecospherical Expansion Lite — English Description

Ecospherical Expansion Lite is a datapack that fundamentally transforms Minecraft's block-based ecosystems, adding diversity to biomes and making landscapes more aesthetically pleasing and visually appealing. Unlike the full modification, this datapack focuses on basic improvements, leaving more advanced features—such as unique rocks, giant trees, and underground formations—for the full version.

World Preset Features

Default Mode:

• The surface landscape remains classic, identical to vanilla Minecraft.
• Caves become significantly more spacious and open.
• Oceans now lead into expansive cave systems, adding a new layer of depth to exploration.

Large Biomes:

• Large plateaus with smooth surfaces are added.
• Biome sizes are noticeably increased, creating a sense of vastness.

Amplified:

• Biome generation is altered: level Y63 and below are entirely covered by oceans.
• World height is extended to Y512.
• Terrain is reworked, ensuring dramatic style variations over large distances.
• Small floating islands generate above the existing landscape.

Tropospherical:

• Sparse floating islands in the sky.
• The bottom of the world is completely submerged in ocean.
• Similar changes are applied to the Nether.

Stratospherical:

• Large, multi-layered, dense floating islands.
• The bottom of the world is a bottomless void.
• The Nether is transformed according to the same principle.

OG Stratospherical:

• Extremely dense floating islands.
• Insane verticality in the landscape.
• No rivers on floating islands (consistent with the original modification).
• The Nether remains unchanged (per the author's intention).

Mesospherical:

• One large layer of moderately spaced floating islands.
• The bottom of the world is a void.
• The Nether is likewise transformed.

Thermospherical:

• Two layers of sparse floating islands.
• Islands feature more pronounced height variations.
• The bottom of the world is empty.
• The Nether follows the same rules.

Lithospherical:

• The entire world consists of one giant cave system.
• World height is reduced to Y128.
• The Nether visually mirrors these changes but retains its standard height.

Asthenospherical:

• The top of the dimension forms a single massive ceiling.
• One layer of small but dense floating islands.
• World height is reduced to Y128.
• The Nether is transformed similarly.

Compatibility

Incompatible Mods:

• Terralith (completely incompatible).

Conditionally Compatible:

• Biomes O’ Plenty works correctly only with the standard preset and Large Biomes mode (likely applies to all Terralith-like biome modifications).

‼️ Note: Versions prior to 1.19.4 do not support world presets and simply overhaul the standard Minecraft biomes.
