Early-Game Buckets

A small Fabric mod that adds several new types of buckets available in the early stages of the game!

Wooden Bucket

Wooden Bucket is the first bucket you'll be able to craft. It requires seven wooden planks arranged in a U-shape and has durability for up to 64 uses.

You can carry water, milk, and fish in a wooden bucket, but you cannot transport lava! The bucket's durability decreases each time you place or use a liquid, or release a fish. Empty wooden buckets can be repaired in the crafting grid or at an anvil, and can also be used as fuel. You cannot use buckets containing liquid as fuel or repair filled buckets.

Clay Bucket

Clay Bucket is an unfired ceramic bucket. It cannot hold liquids until fired... or can it?

Clay buckets can be fired in a furnace.

Ceramic Bucket

Ceramic Bucket is created by firing a clay bucket in a furnace or kiln. Ceramic buckets can carry water, milk, lava, and fish.

Collecting lava in a ceramic bucket significantly reduces its durability. Ceramic lava buckets can be used as fuel, similar to iron lava buckets, but the fragile ceramic breaks and is consumed when used in this manner.

Ceramic buckets are twice as durable as wooden ones. Empty buckets can be repaired in the crafting grid or at an anvil. Filled buckets cannot be repaired.

Setup

This mod requires Fabric mod loader and Fabric API mod.

For version 1.16.5, if you want to be able to craft and use kilns, make sure Boundarybreaker's Kiln mod is installed.
