What the Modification Offers
This modification is a standalone version of combat skills from another popular mod - Zelda Sword Skills. Here you'll find only the combat technique system, without additional items, mobs, and dungeons from the Zelda universe, making it an ideal choice for those who want to diversify battles without overloading the game with extra content.
Skill Acquisition System
Every player starts with one basic sword mastery skill. Additional abilities can be obtained by opening chests or defeating mobs and other players. Weapons with Looting enchantments significantly increase the chance of skill orb drops. All drop parameters and other settings can be modified in the configuration file.

Controls and Settings
All control keys can be configured in the game options menu under "Dynamic Sword Skills Keys". IMPORTANT: Do not assign these keys to WASD or LMB/RMB - these are standard Minecraft controls that can be used as alternatives to some mod keys.
Main Control Keys:
- X - activate/deactivate targeting system
- Tab - switch to next available target
- . (period) - toggle auto-targeting
- V - toggle combo HUD on/off
- P - open/close Skill Book
Arrow Keys (only when targeting):
- Up - attack (LMB equivalent)
- Down - move backward (S equivalent)
- Left/Right - side movement (A/D equivalent)
- Right Ctrl - use item (RMB equivalent)
Combat Techniques
Basic Sword Technique Activation: Press X while looking at target Effect: Target lock, ability to create deadly combos Features: Each successive attack deals additional damage
Armor Break Activation: Hold attack key to charge Effect: Powerful strike ignoring target's armor
Back Slice Activation: Hold left/right + double-tap forward Effect: Circle around enemy to attack vulnerable side
Dash Attack Activation: Attack while blocking with shield Effect: Rapid charge toward target with knockback
Dodge Activation: Double-tap left/right Effect: Quick evasion from attacks
Ending Blow Activation: Forward, forward + attack during combo Effect: Finishing strike with bonus experience
Leaping Blow Activation: Jump + hold use item key Effect: Devastating area attack with weakness effect
Mortal Draw Activation: Empty-handed + hold use item key + attack Effect: Lightning-fast counterattack with double damage
Parry Activation: Double-tap back/down Effect: Deflect attack with disarm chance
Rising Cut Activation: Jump + sneak + attack Effect: Rising slash that throws enemy upward
Spin Attack Activation: Left then right (or vice versa) + hold Effect: Circular strike hitting all surrounding enemies
Super Spin Attack Activation: Automatically at full health during regular spin attack Effect: Enhanced version of spin attack
Sword Beam Activation: Attack + sneak Effect: Energy beam projectile
Sword Break Activation: Double-tap back while blocking Effect: Powerful block capable of breaking opponent's weapon
Developer API
Dynamic Sword Skills provides an API that allows other mods to add their own skill-granting items. API versions are available for various Minecraft versions with source code for development convenience.
