Dynamic Darkness
Dynamic Darkness is a compact client-side mod that completely removes the minimum light level in Minecraft. It also dynamically changes moonlight brightness depending on the current moon phase (this feature is enabled by default). If desired, you can activate the classic Hardcore Darkness mode through the settings.
Unlike the original Hardcore Darkness, this mod does not alter Night Vision effect colors, features convenient in-game configuration, and offers sensible default settings.

The animation below demonstrates the mod's operation using the following brightness coefficients for moon phases: [0.6], [0.5], [0.4], [0.3], [0.2], [0.3], [0.4], [0.5]
You can configure these parameters in the "Mods" → "Darkness" → "Config" → "Moon Phase Brightness" menu by adding numbers in the order of moon phases, starting with the full moon. By default, standard brightness coefficients are used: 1.0 (normal brightness) during full moon and 0.0 (pitch-black darkness) during new moon.
