Dynamic Trees - Thaumcraft Compat

This addon integrates trees from the Thaumcraft mod into the Dynamic Trees system, providing them with realistic and dynamic behavior.

About the Modification

Dynamic Trees fundamentally transforms standard Minecraft trees, making them complex and natural. However, trees from other mods may look out of place against such realistic vegetation. This addon solves this problem by replacing Thaumcraft trees with their dynamic versions that fit organically into the updated landscape.

Transformed Tree Species

Greatwood

• Sometimes appears covered in cobwebs with a surprise hidden underneath

Silverwood

• Logs emit faint light
• Leaves gradually restore vis in the chunk's aura when it falls below the base level
• Shimmering plants generate around the tree
• May yield quicksilver drops when harvested

Configuration

The mod does not have its own configuration file but respects changes made to Dynamic Trees settings. To disable the generation of original Thaumcraft trees, the mod disables their creation in Thaumcraft's world configuration file.

Requirements

Required components:

• Dynamic Trees version 0.7.7 or higher
• Thaumcraft 6.1 Beta 10

The mod can be freely included in any modpack without needing permission.
