DragN's Deadly Dinos: Reconstructed
Welcome to the post-apocalyptic world of Deadly Dinos! Find yourself in the year 2071, where most of humanity has been wiped out by a deadly disease and prehistoric predators. This rebuilt project has completely transformed the original mod for Minecraft 1.20.1, offering a truly stable and optimized gaming experience.
Current dinosaur roster (alpha version)
The test release features four species of ancient reptiles, each with unique characteristics:
- Acrocanthosaurus - formidable hunter
- Utahraptor - fast prairie hunter
- Yutyrannus - tamable tyrant
- Parasaurolophus - peaceful herbivorous companion
Core gameplay features
Enhanced behavior system: carnivorous dinosaurs now actively hunt prey, with utahraptors in particular stalking before attacking. Pack creatures form groups for better coordination.
Biological authenticity: dinosaurs now have gender-specific traits affecting coloration and breeding capabilities. Females regularly lay unfertilized eggs.
Tactile interaction: tamed reptiles remain stationary when dismounted thanks to the "ground tie" feature. Powerful individuals can destroy structures, while herbivores happily snack on your crops.
Resources and crafting: dinosaur bones become valuable materials for creating fertilizers and equipment. Various meat types and specialized reinforced construction blocks are also available for building secure shelters.
Large predators possess skin so tough that regular arrows can't significantly harm them. The prey tracking system for hunters has been significantly expanded for more realistic behavior.
The dinosaur guide has replaced older documentation with an interactive in-game encyclopedia. All audio files, visual assets and animation sequences have undergone complete renewal.
