D-Mod

D-Mod is a modification that transfers certain functional capabilities from later versions of Minecraft to version 1.7.10. It can be considered as an additional extension to Et Futurum Requiem (although the latter is not a mandatory requirement for operation).
Added Features
The current version implements the following elements:
- Foxes - realistic forest animals
- Bundles - innovative item storage system
Fox System
Foxes function similarly to their counterparts in modern versions of vanilla gameplay. However, they include additional optional character development capabilities. As enemies are eliminated, they accumulate experience, unlocking access to new abilities and artificial intelligence improvements.
Key features include:
- Health regeneration when consuming food
- Ability to follow the owner after being fed sweet berries
- Built-in loot improvement system (Looting I) that does not stack with similar weapon effects Experience indicators are passed from adult specimens to their offspring.
More detailed information is available in the project wiki.
System Requirements
- Display of item icons in bundle tooltips works only with NEI installed (GTNH fork is recommended)
- For full functionality, installation of Et Futurum Requiem is recommended, which adds necessary elements: sweet berries for foxes and rabbits for bundle crafting
Compatibility Issues
- Hodgepodge - the parameter
preventPickupLoot=falsemust be set for proper functioning of the item collection system by foxes - Coremodding Problems - some main modifications cause conflicts during startup due to incompatibility with Mixin. For example, Backlytra causes failures when the
lootingFoxFixfunction is activated. This problem is resolved by installing Mixingasm
