Distraction Free Recipes (EMI / REI / JEI)

This modification helps clean up your game interface by automatically hiding the extensive item list from recipe viewers when you're not actively searching. It provides full compatibility with all popular recipe systems: EMI, REI, and JEI.
Why It's Beneficial
Beginners in modded Minecraft often face the issue where opening the inventory results in half the screen being filled with hundreds of items. This can cause confusion and hinder the adaptation to the game. Since constantly displaying the entire recipe list isn't necessary, automatic hiding makes the interface more user-friendly for new players.
Additional Features
The modification offers two additional interface configuration options:
- Lower Search Bar Opacity (disabled by default) — makes the standard search field less prominent in the background
- "Search to View Recipes" Hint — helps players understand where recipes went if they think the mod isn't working
Performance Solution
While displaying recipes typically doesn't heavily burden the system, reducing the number of on-screen elements always positively impacts game performance.
Example in the Prominence II RPG Pack:

Setup for Maximum Immersion
For the cleanest interface in combination with EMI, the following settings are recommended:
- Distraction Free Recipes → Lower Opacity: True
- EMI → Left Sidebar → Header: Invisible
- EMI → Right Sidebar → Columns: 9
- EMI → Center Search Bar: False
- EMI → Config and Recipe Tree Buttons: Hidden
