This mod is a ported version of Dimensional Worldborder for Minecraft Forge versions 1.19.2 and above.
The Classic Server Problem Solution
When you create a survival multiplayer server, performance issues often arise due to enormous worlds. We're used to using pre-generation tools like Chunky for the main world, but what about other dimensions? The Nether, The End, modded dimensions—they all need pre-generation too!
A typical scenario: you pre-generate all dimensions within a 2500-block radius, set the world border to 2000 blocks, thinking everything will be fine. But it turns out that dimensions like The End or certain modded worlds simply don't have enough space! You have to increase the generation radius to 5000 blocks and change the border to 4500... Then you discover that another dimension requires even more space, and players continue loading new chunks despite the established border, since it's identical for all dimensions!
Individual Borders for Each World
This mod solves this problem fundamentally—it allows you to configure world borders separately for each dimension using a new command:
/dimworldborder [dimension] [get/set/add...]
At the same time, the standard /worldborder command continues to work, but now it only affects the borders of the main world.
Important Installation Note
The mod must be installed on both the server and the client. Although this might seem counterintuitive, such installation prevents potential issues for players with high ping.
