Dimensional Cake Rebaked - Delicious Interdimensional Travel
This mod is inspired by the original Dimensional Cake and offers players a unique way to travel between dimensions through themed cakes. Each cake becomes a portal to different worlds!
What's Available Now
Currently, the mod features only the End Cake. To craft it, you'll need Eyes of Ender and a regular cake. The resulting dessert will be filled with Eyes of Ender and send you on a one-way trip to the End. However, if you bring two cakes with you, you can return back!
Development History
Dimensional Cake Rebaked is a reworked version of the original Dimensional Cake, which was last updated for version 1.9.4 and distributed under the MIT license. While textures are taken from the original, all code has been completely rewritten from scratch.
Improvements Over the Original
- Models now work correctly unlike the 1.9.4 version
- Unnecessary configuration removed - the cake is always usable without hunger requirements
- Fixed the issue with the Ender Dragon's health bar potentially remaining on screen
Future Plans
- Adding compatibility with versions 1.11.2 and 1.10.2
- Creation of Nether Cake
- Development of cakes for custom dimensions
- Expanding support for older versions as new cakes are added
