Diary of an 8-Bit warrior MOD

About the Modification

This project is inspired by Cube Kid's "Diary of an 8-Bit Warrior" book series and brings the fantasy world of Aetheria to Minecraft. The mod is actively developed and regularly updated with new content.

The game features unique tools, weapons, armor, blocks, structures, and mobs from the book universe. Special attention deserves the Aeon Forge - a custom 5×5 crafting interface for creating advanced items. All crafting recipes can be found in the Knowledge Book or in the image gallery.

Future updates plan to add a quest system from the villagers of Villagetown, where players spawn when creating a new world. They will send you to dungeons for valuable rewards.

Gameplay

Play as you like! If you're looking for a main objective, your goal is to collect the best equipment and fight Herobrine. Defeating this powerful boss will bring valuable trophies and collectible items. Each victory over him may yield different rewards, but be prepared - he's a serious opponent requiring thorough preparation.

Technical Features

Requirements:

• Minecraft Forge 1.20.1 or NeoForge 1.21.1
• Required dependencies: GeckoLib and CuriosAPI
• For NeoForge 1.21.1, Adorned is also needed

Recommendations:

• Allocate at least 4 GB of RAM for smooth gameplay
• Use Sodium or Embeddium for performance improvement
• Avoid OptiFine - it may cause model rendering issues
• Use Oculus for shader support

Mod Content

Minerals and Ores

Various ores added: Void Crystal, Mythril, Earth Esper, Fire Elementium, Endersteel, Adamant, and others. Most ores drop shards when mined, which need to be combined in a crafting table to create full crystals.

Weapons and Tools

Wide selection of swords, pickaxes, axes, and other equipment made from unique materials. All crafted at the Aeon Forge with 5×5 interface.

Armor and Accessories

Various armor sets and special items: capes, rings, and other enhancements.

Mobs

Numerous new creatures, including regular mobs and bosses. Special attention deserves Herobrine with 1000 health points.

Dimensions

Three new dimensions: Underworld, Sculk Dimension, and The True Void, each with unique atmosphere and dangers.

Abilities

Four special abilities: Dual-Wield, Dash, Hide, and Fireballer.

Update 2.2_1

Critical bugs fixed, world detection system for Villagetown improved, deepslate adamant variants added, textures and ore generation fixed. Updating to this version is highly recommended.
