Damageless Handle - Preserving Materials When Tools Wear Out
This datapack introduces a useful change to the game mechanics - now when tools completely wear out, you get back the materials used to craft their handles. This allows you to save valuable resources and makes the tool usage process more rational.
How It Works
When a tool completely wears out and breaks, the system automatically returns the components needed to create its handle. For example, an iron sword requires one stick and two iron ingots to craft. When it breaks, you'll get back the stick - the handle material.
Supported Tools and Returned Materials
- All swords and brushes - 1 stick
- All axes, hoes, shovels, and pickaxes - 2 sticks
- All fishing rods - 3 sticks
- All maces - 1 breeze rod
- All bows - 3 strings
- All crossbows - 2 strings and 1 iron ingot
