Custom Friends Capes - Personalized Cloaks for Friends

Custom Friends Capes mod allows creating and customizing unique cloaks for players in Minecraft. Using simple commands, you can add individual cloaks both in single player and on multiplayer servers.

System Requirements and Compatibility

For version 1.10.2, installation of p455w0rd's Library version 1.0.5 or higher is required. Users of version 1.7.10 need to use p455w0rd's Library version 1.0.4 or newer.

Commands and Management

All cloak operations are performed through commands with Tab key autocompletion support.

Single Player

• /cape set [URL or texture name] - set cloak
• /cape remove - remove cloak
• /cape texturelist - show available textures list

Multiplayer Mode

• /cape set [player name] [URL or texture name] - set cloak for player
• /cape remove [player name] - remove player's cloak
• /cape list - show players with cloaks list
• /cape texturelist - show available textures list

Texture Caching

When adding cloaks via URLs, textures are automatically saved to cache. The cached texture name corresponds to the file name without extension. For example, texture at http://somesite.com/some_cape_file.png will be saved as "some_cape_file". These names can be used later instead of full URLs.

Legal Aspects

The mod can be freely used in modpacks and on servers without needing special permission. According to Mojang's EULA, mod usage is permitted provided that server owners do not sell access to cloaks for real money.
