Cursery[Forge/Fabric] - Cursed Enchantments for Minecraft

This mod introduces 20 different curses into the game that add negative effects to items while maintaining their functionality. Curses become part of the enchanting process - when adding any enchantment, there's a chance to receive an additional curse.

Now obtaining perfectly enchanted gear is possible, but requires more effort and luck. The curse system makes the enchanting process more unpredictable and interesting.

Curse of Explosions: Tools and swords with this curse can cause explosions that also damage the owner
Curse of Blindness: Armor with this effect can temporarily blind the wearer when taking damage
Poisonous Curse: Armor has a chance to poison the owner when hit
Curse of Illusion: Helmets emit random scary sounds, like creeper explosions
Curse of Undead: Helmets can set the wearer on fire in daylight and provide water breathing in darkness
Curse of Weakness: Armor weakens the wearer when taking damage
Electrified Curse: Tools can summon lightning during use in open areas
Inefficient Curse: Tools mine blocks slower
Steel Feet Curse: Footwear with this effect causes fall damage from just 2 blocks high
Curse of Indecisiveness: Swords can swap items between main and off-hand when attacking
Hungry Curse: Armor causes hunger when taking damage
Hammering Curse: Helmets can cause anvils to fall on the wearer when hit
Recoil Curse: Bows knock back the shooter when firing arrows
Heavy Curse: Armor periodically slows the wearer
Hurtful Curse: Armor deals additional damage to the wearer when hit
HungryHealth Curse: Chestplates consume hunger when hit but restore health
Stubby Grip Curse: Bows can fire weakly charged arrows
Loose Curse: Tools and weapons can be dropped from hands during use
Curse of Laddering: Footwear can knock the wearer off ladders

Settings and Configuration

The mod offers flexible settings for personalizing gameplay:

• Ability to exclude specific curses from the available list
• Option to disable curses for rare enchantments
• Base chance of curse appearance, which increases with the number of enchantments on an item
• Configuration for applying curses only to unenchanted or already enchanted items

Compatibility

The mod is fully compatible with other mods that add enchantments and curses. The more mods you have - the more diverse and interesting the enchanting system becomes!

Requires Cuboard dependency to be installed in newer versions.
