Cursed Difficulty
This mod offers a unique way to increase game difficulty without breaking balance and leaving the choice to the player. Upon first entering the world, you'll be prompted to activate cursed difficulty with a brief description of its features. All mod parameters can be customized to your preferences.
Difficulty Curses
- Damage taken and knockback are doubled
- Burning becomes eternal - fire extinguishes only with active putting out
- Neutral mobs become aggressive within a 28-block radius with line of sight (4 blocks without)
- Using beds for sleep becomes impossible
Bonuses and Rewards
For accepting the challenge, the player receives significant advantages:
- Tripled experience from killing mobs
- 15% chance for unique items with additional 15% chance for rare drops

- Cow: bonus leather
- Chicken: bonus feathers
- Zombie: slime ball
- Drowned: clay ball
- Husk: sand
- Skeleton/Stray/Bogged: bonus arrows
- Creeper: bonus gunpowder
- Spider/Cave Spider: fermented spider eye
- Enderman: echo shard
- Witch: phantom membrane
- Evoker: diamond
- Pillager: emerald
- Vindicator: lapis lazuli
- Magma Cube: glowstone dust
- Blaze/Breeze: bonus rods
- Wither Skeleton/Piglin Brute: netherite scrap
- Zombified Piglin/Piglin: gold ingot
