Cure to the Crimson

This modification is a required component for the Cure to the Crimson Modpack. This pack is designed for gameplay in a specially crafted world where the main objective is to confront the dominance of the Crimson Cult. The mod can also be used in other custom packs, but the original pack fully reveals its potential.

Mod Features

Hostile Creatures

Demon - a powerful enemy of player size. Comparable in strength to 2-3 zombies combined.

Juggernaut Demon - a huge creature 5 blocks tall. Inflicts massive damage to unprepared players. In power, it approaches 1-2 Wardens.

Martial Demon - an agile enemy inspired by martial arts. Possesses strength comparable to 2-3 piglin brutes.

Orc - a strong enemy of human height. Approximately equal in strength to two zombies.

Orc Boss - an extremely powerful three-block version of the orc, dealing enormous damage and entering a rage when damaged. Comparable in strength to 2-3 piglin brutes.

Swords

Copper, Iron, Steel swords - correspond in characteristics to wooden, iron, and netherite swords respectively.

Soulmetal sword - a powerful weapon dealing 1 heart more damage than a netherite sword. Feature: deals 100% additional true damage to demons, effectively doubling damage against them.

The Bloodthirster - a strong sword with damage 1 heart higher than netherite. Heals the player when health is low.

Glass sword - a powerful weapon with damage 1 heart higher than netherite. Extremely unreliable due to fragility.

Katana - an effective sword with damage 1 heart higher than netherite. When placed in the off-hand, increases movement speed. (Not recommended for use in the first hotbar slot due to a bug with constant sound playback)

Other Weapons

Iron and Steel mace - deals incredibly high damage, twice that of a sword. However, has low attack speed and DPS. Critical hits stun mobs, making it a reliable choice.

Copper Wrench - an extremely ineffective weapon. Deals the same damage as a wooden sword but with lower attack speed.
