Searching for slimes to obtain slimeballs can be a tedious process, but now this problem is solved! With the Cruelty-Free Slimeballs mod, you can create slimeballs through crafting without harming peaceful slimes.
The mod adds three different crafting recipes to the game, based on natural thickeners: carrageenan, pectin, and xanthan gum.
Xanthan Gum Recipe

Note: wheat can be replaced with sugar cane or a bucket of milk.

Compatibility: Tested with Fabric API 0.91.0+ for version 1.20.1. The mod should work on all Minecraft 1.20.X versions. Updates and porting to other versions are not planned, but users can do this themselves.
