Craft Spawn Eggs

This modification adds to Minecraft the ability to create spawn eggs for various creatures using a crafting table. Instead of searching for rare spawn eggs in dungeons or fortresses, you can craft them from available resources.

Main Features

The mod provides crafting recipes for 77 different creature spawn eggs - from common animals to rare and dangerous mobs. Each egg has a unique recipe that matches the creature's theme.

Version Features

For Minecraft versions 1.21.5 and above: any type of egg (normal, blue, and brown) can be used in recipes.

Compatibility and Requirements

The modification is available in two formats:

• Datapack - works in vanilla game
• Mod - for Fabric/Forge servers

Important: For the datapack to work, cheats must be enabled in the world. This can be done either when creating the world or later through LAN settings or world file editing.

Installation

For Single Player (Datapack)

1. Create a new world or open an existing one
2. Go to the "Data Packs" section
3. Add the datapack file to the datapacks folder
4. Activate the datapack and reload the world

For Server (Mod)

1. Download the mod version for your Minecraft version
2. Place the .jar file in the server's mods folder
3. Restart the server

Recipe Examples

The modification includes recipes for all popular creatures:

• Creeper - gunpowder + green dye
• Skeleton - bone + arrow
• Zombie - rotten flesh + iron sword
• Enderman - ender pearl + obsidian
• Villager - emerald + book

Each recipe is carefully balanced to not disrupt game balance while making spawn eggs accessible to players.

Additional Features

For extended interaction with summoned creatures, it's recommended to use the author's companion modifications that add the ability to craft and mine spawners.
