Coppertunity Mod
The Coppertunity modification combines two main game mechanics: working with souls and deep development of copper.
Development of Copper Technologies
The copper module introduces three key resources: tuff, goat fur, and copper.
Goat fur can be obtained by hunting goats or found in igloos. Additionally, goats now leave behind mutton.
By combining 4 units of tuff, 4 goat furs, and 1 copper ingot, you create a coated ingot. This material is used in a smithing table together with diamond armor and a copper upgrade template to obtain coated armor.
Copper upgrade templates are found in igloos.
Advantages of Coated Armor
- Receive bonuses (e.g., regeneration) within a 10-block radius of goats
- Enhance your strength during thunderstorms
- Holding a lightning rod causes lightning to strike you every 3 seconds
- The helmet and boots enhance attack power when flying with elytras and provide levitation near goats when Shift is pressed
- Due to the fuzzy structure, the material slows movement in water
The Art of Soul Work
To master the soul mechanics you need to:
- Create a hell cleaver from netherite scrap and a stick
- Craft an empty ominous bottle from 3 tinted glass and an ominous skull
- Obtain an ominous skull by firing tuff on a campfire
Hit a mob with the cleaver while holding an empty ominous bottle in your inventory near an evoker — the bottle will fill, turning into a soulful bottle.
Additional Items
Hell sword is an expensive weapon with an innate fire effect and the ability to enchant with Leap, which propels you into the air and helps overcome obstacles.
Ominous pendant also requires an ominous bottle, which can be obtained from evokers or through the bad omen effect. Hit a warden with less than 100 health with the pendant to turn the creature into a stone statue for decoration. To revive it, apply redstone signal (sometimes requiring double activation).
Cursed chain creates from an ominous bottle and imposes slowness when in inventory.
Version 1.21: Porting Peculiarities
The mod ports new tuff blocks and ominous bottles from version 1.21 to 1.20. Note that these elements will be removed from the modification when updating to version 1.21.
