Copper Pot

Overview

The copper cauldron is a highly efficient thermal device that significantly speeds up the cooking process of various recipes, and in some cases allows obtaining larger quantities of finished products. The cooking process can be controlled using redstone signals.

Unlike regular kitchen cauldrons from the Farmer's Delight mod, the copper cauldron does not require adding water to recipes. Its main feature is creating viscous substances such as jellies, meringues, and other similar products.

• Some of these dishes can extend the duration of active potion effects — be sure to try various recipes and evaluate their effectiveness in gameplay.
• Seasonal agars can extend several different effects, although they are relatively neutral by themselves. Experiment to determine which ones best suit your playstyle!
• Other food products can have more unusual effects on gameplay, including the ability for instant retreat, creating creepers on command, enhancing effects, and much more.

Some acidic recipes can cause copper leaching from the cauldron, resulting in the release of gases that spread certain status effects in the air during cooking. However, not all of these effects are necessarily negative.

• The spread of gases can be limited to a small area by placing fume inhibitors in close proximity to the cauldron.

Raw meringue blocks (don't ponder the logic of their origin) allow climbing to any height with just one jump. Climbing speed can be increased with additional levels of Speed and Jump Boost effects. Joyfully ignore the consequences of messing with raw egg slurry while creating your own obstacle courses.

Configuration

You can modify the following parameters:

• The radius of fume spread from the copper cauldron — from 0 to 5 blocks (default 2).
• The ability to automatically display recipes for regular cauldrons with fewer than 4 slots in the copper cauldron interface.
• This allows dishes such as fish stew and other soup-like options to appear in the copper cauldron's recipe list. This option is particularly useful if the modpack changes recipes to add water to the copper cauldron or requires expanding the recipe list for this specialized tool.

Block Tags

The tag copperpot:fume_inhibitors includes all blocks that can be placed within the cauldron's range to limit fume spread.
