Concrete and Volcanoes

This is a reworked version of one of my first mods that adds a realistic concrete system to Minecraft. Now you can pour liquid concrete that hardens over time, creating durable structures of any shape. A key feature of the mod is the ability to reinforce concrete with rebar to create super-strong building materials.

The second important part of the mod is dynamic volcanoes that gradually grow and erupt, providing a constant source of resources needed for concrete production.

Main Concrete Features

Liquid Concrete

The mod adds liquid concrete that can be obtained in several ways: by mixing vanilla powdered concrete with water in a bucket, or by creating a mixture of cement, sand, gravel and water. Dispensers can place concrete both from buckets and directly from intermediate items, making it easier to pour large areas in bulk.

Concrete Formwork

For shaping concrete structures, formwork has been added that is crafted from planks and string using a recipe similar to scaffolding. The formwork follows the same placement rules as scaffolding and breaks in a similar manner.

Reinforced Concrete

You can create and place rebar. Liquid concrete will flow around the rebar, and when it hardens, reinforced concrete is formed, which is comparable in strength to obsidian.

Painting Concrete

Concrete surfaces can be painted using special brushes. Brushes are dyed with paint during crafting and last for approximately 64 blocks before needing to be re-dyed.
