CompatSkills

CompatSkills is the official compatibility extension for the Reskillable mod, allowing setting player skill requirements for using content from various modifications.

Main Features

The mod adds a restriction system that blocks access to certain game elements and actions until the player reaches the required skill level. This creates gradual character development and makes gameplay more challenging.

Supported Mods

Astral Sorcery - requirements based on player's knowledge level, attuned constellation, and seen/mapped objects.

Baubles - support for item ejection when equipping in Baubles slots.

BetterQuesting - adding requirements as quest tasks.

Blood Magic - restrictions for item binding and ritual activation.

CraftTweaker - support for item requirements.

DynamicSwordSkills - using DSS skills as requirements.

GameStages - requirements based on game stages and "dummy traits".

Hwyla/Waila/TheOneProbe - displaying requirements for breaking the block the player is looking at.

Immersive Engineering/Magneticraft - restrictions for multiblock structures.

Ore Excavation - locking simultaneous ore mining and additional types.

ProjectE - EMC-based locks and restrictions for the transmutation tablet.

Scavenge - support for all Reskillable requirement types.

Thaumcraft - restrictions for research, knowledge, warp, and research requirements.

Tinker's Construct - locking numerous creation elements.

Additional Features

The mod also supports restrictions for dimensions, tile entities, entity damage, creature taming, and mounting, as well as many other Minecraft capabilities.
