Colourful Portals Reimagined

This project represents a modern reimagining of the original Colourful Portals mod created by Tmtravlr. The mod introduces colorful portals for instant travel between locations in the game.

Portal Creation

To create a portal, you need to build a classic 4x5 frame using wool blocks of the same color. Then fill the frame with Colourful Fluid, which will automatically take the shape of a portal and activate it. Colourful Fluid can be placed in the world as a decorative block and picked back up into a bucket.

Functionality Features

The fluid always attempts to form a flat surface, spreading into the most confined direction first. To create additional portals of the same color remotely, simply right-click an existing portal plane with a bucket of Colourful Fluid.

Immersive Portals Compatibility

The mod can work in conjunction with Immersive Portals, enabling the creation of transparent portals with see-through visibility and seamless passage. Starting from version 0.9.4, the mod also functions independently but without the ability to see through portals.

Configuration

All portal parameters are fully configurable. By default, wool is used for creating portal frames.

This mod combines the convenience of teleportation systems with the preservation of game atmosphere and the addition of visually appealing gameplay elements.
