Cobblemon Poképedia: Cobblepedia

This project is no longer supported and will not receive major updates. Development has been discontinued as the author focused on creating the new Cobblemon Knowlogy mod, which also adds wiki information in the form of a book in the game and is regularly updated for compatibility with the latest versions of Cobblemon.

Cobblepedia is an in-game encyclopedia in book format, created specifically for the Cobblemon mod using the Patchouli platform. It displays information from the official Cobblemon wiki and tracks achievements added by this mod.

Main Features

The book interface is fully adapted to Cobblemon's aesthetics and includes sections with achievements, crafting recipes, and basic tutorials for beginners.

How to Get the Poképedia

The book can be obtained in several ways: after completing the "Choosing a Starter Pokémon" achievement, by crafting it from a book and any apricorn, through creative mode (Tools and Utilities tab), or using commands:

For Minecraft version 1.20.1: /give @s patchouli:guide_book{"patchouli:book": "cobblepedia:cobblepedia"}

For Minecraft version 1.21.1: /give @p patchouli:guide_book[patchouli:book="cobblepedia:cobblepedia"]

Required Mods

For Cobblepedia to work, installation of the Patchouli mod is required, which provides the book functionality, and the Cobblemon mod itself, which adds the content described in the encyclopedia.

Recommendations

For better visual matching, it is recommended to use the Cobblemon Interface resource pack, which changes the Minecraft interface to match Cobblemon's style. The PatchouliButton mod can also be useful, adding a button for quick access to the Poképedia directly from the inventory.

Localization

The mod supports translation into several languages, including Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Italian, and Spanish. It should be noted that some translations may be outdated or incomplete.

The book textures are based on the Torrezx-Improved Library resource pack and inspired by books from the Legends of Arceus trailer.
