Cobblemon - Pokémon Mod for Minecraft

Cobblemon aims to be the universal Pokémon mod that seamlessly integrates into Minecraft and modpacks. We've opened our source code to the community to foster collaborative development and project forks.

Main Features

Collect Pokémon to expand your team, battle wild Pokémon for experience, level up to unlock new moves, and evolve your Pokémon. You'll find over 700 Pokémon species!

Battles use the Pokémon Showdown! engine for accurate competitive mechanics. Also includes elements from Legends Arceus: move relearning, physically running from battle, and evolving Pokémon at your discretion.

You can move freely during battles - build, mine resources, or fight mobs while Pokémon battles are ongoing!

Exploration and Collection

Record encountered and caught Pokémon in the Pokédex, which features a scanning function for analyzing wild Pokémon. Release Pokémon into special pastures.

Discover ancient structures in the world with gilded chests containing valuable items and surprises. Search for fossils by excavating suspicious gravel and sand in specific locations, then revive them using a special machine.

Crafting and Farming

Gather berries in the wild, cultivate them on farms, use them as fertilizer, and cross-breed for mutated varieties. Create medicinal items by placing crops and berries in a brewing stand - brewed potions heal more effectively!

Multiplayer and Compatibility

Trade Pokémon and battle with friends in multiplayer. The mod supports all Pokémon from generations 1 through 9, though if a model isn't ready yet, the Pokémon appears as a substitute doll.

Full support for many biome mods including Terralith, Oh The Biomes You'll Go, and William Wythers' Overhauled Overworld, with a constantly growing compatibility list.

Customization and Expansion

Create custom variations and fakemon using datapacks and resource packs. Cobbled Farms is a tutorial world from our team that guides you through the mod's features interactively.

Support for Fabric and NeoForge, though we recommend Fabric for better performance.

Installation

For Fabric:

• Install the recommended Fabric Loader version for your Minecraft version
• Install Fabric API
• Place Fabric API and Cobblemon-Fabric in the mods folder

For NeoForge:

• Install the recommended NeoForge version for your Minecraft version
• Install Kotlin for Forge
• Place Kotlin for Forge and Cobblemon-NeoForge in the mods folder

Important: Cobblemon does not have an official server. You can find a list of public servers on our website or add them to the multiplayer menu.

Note: The Cobblemon mod is still in development and actively updated. Many features are works in progress or temporary solutions. Planned additions include NPCs, Pokémon riding, breeding, and new structures.
