Clockpass

Tired of accidentally losing your F3 button or just too lazy to press it? Or maybe you find it hard to navigate by visual cues? Then this mod is made especially for you! Clockpass is a modification that preserves the vanilla game style, turning ordinary items into essential survival tools.
What's New in the Modification
Compass
Now when holding a compass in your hand, your current coordinates are displayed above the quick access panel. If you crouch while doing this, you'll see the direction you're looking—very useful during travels!
Clock
Regular clocks show whether it's currently day or night. Although this might seem insignificant, such information helps understand when you can sleep and when hostile mobs appear. Crouching with a clock in your hand shows the light level at your feet. You can also use the new stopwatch function: simply RMB with the clock in your main hand to start the timer, and RMB again to stop it. Stopping the timer outputs the total time in the chat for later checking. (Note: the timer continues running even if the clock is in your inventory; to display the time, you need to hold it in your main or off-hand.)
Spyglass
Using the spyglass now shows the current weather—handy to know if it's raining or storming. Make sure there are no blocks above your head to check the weather! Crouching with the spyglass shows the name of the block you're looking at, helping you learn and remember them.
Streamer Mode
The mod includes a special mode for streamers that disables the new compass functions only for you, so you don't accidentally reveal coordinates or location during streaming. Toggle the mode with the F6 key (configurable in controls), and activation is indicated by a red dot in the bottom right corner of the screen.
For Server Owners
- The mod can be disabled in-game using a game rule: use
/gamerule clockpassMode false/trueor change it in the world creation menu. - To make the total time announced in the chat for all online players whenever any player stops their stopwatch, use
/gamerule publicStopwatch false/trueor configure it in the world creation menu. This is useful for events, races, or games to prevent cheating.
Additional Information
- The mod will be ported to version 1.19.4, but this port will not be supported when new updates for the latest Minecraft versions are released.
- A port for Bedrock Edition is possible in the future, but not guaranteed.
Please note: this mod is a remake/remaster of the mod with the same name "clockpass" on PMC (Planet Minecraft). I am the same creator, returning under a new name since I lost access to my PMC account. Enjoy the game!
