Client Tweaks

Great news! I've compiled a collection of useful settings that will make your Minecraft experience much more comfortable. This mod offers numerous optional gameplay improvements, each of which can be individually enabled or disabled in the settings.

Many features are disabled by default, so be sure to activate the ones you need for maximum gaming enjoyment. The mod is compatible with NeoForge, Fabric and Forge, but requires the Balm library to be installed.

Main Features

Smart Torch Placement

No Torch with Block in Hand - the system prevents torch placement when you're holding a block in your main hand. No more random torches instead of the intended block!

No Torch with Empty Hand - prevents torch placement from the offhand when the main hand is empty. Perfect for those moments when you accidentally click next to a chest.

No Torch with Food - protects against torch placement while eating.

Complete Torch Disable - completely prohibits torch placement from the offhand. Useful if you only carry a torch for dynamic lighting.

Torches Only with Tools - the optimal option: torches can only be placed when holding a tool in the main hand.

Save Last Torch - the last torch in inventory cannot be placed, ensuring you always have a light source when using dynamic lighting.

Interface Improvements

Hide Effect Particles - makes potion effect particles on your character less intrusive without blocking your view. Other players still see them normally.

Hide Offhand Item - removes the display of the offhand item if the torch on the left bothers you. Includes a hotkey for quick toggling.

Smart Shields - shields are only displayed when holding a weapon (sword or axe with damage over 1.5 hearts).

Movement Conveniences

Auto Climbing - your character continues climbing ladders as long as you look upward. You can safely type in chat without risk of falling.

Disable Inventory Shift - prevents inventory interface shifting when potion effects are active.

Toggle Log Stripping - a hotkey temporarily disables the ability to strip bark from logs, preventing accidental damage during construction.

Disable Step Assist - allows disabling automatic block stepping while keeping other item bonuses.

Sound Settings

Master Volume in Main Menu - returns the master volume slider to the main settings screen, saving your clicks.

Music Volume in Main Menu - also returns the separate music volume control to the main screen for quick access.

Building Improvements

Easy Pane Building - increases the interaction zone for iron bars and glass panes during construction.

Easy Chain Building - similar improvement for chains when building chain structures.

Easy Creative Breaking - increases the breaking area for randomly offset blocks in creative mode.

Protect Fragile Blocks - prevents accidental destruction of delicate blocks like budding amethyst.
