Cinnamon Skills

When vanilla Minecraft needs a little something extra.
The Cinnamon Skills modification offers a balanced character progression system that expands gameplay possibilities while preserving the spirit of vanilla Minecraft. This progression is perfect for those who want to deepen their gaming experience without straying from the original concept.
Who is this skill system for?
- Players seeking more content in Minecraft without unnecessary complications
- Those who enjoy choosing abilities according to their playstyle
- Gamers who appreciate balance - where powerful skills come with significant drawbacks
- Works equally well in singleplayer and multiplayer environments
This is a "vanilla++" Fabric modification that will satisfy most 1.20.1 players, adding depth without disrupting the original gameplay.
Features
Five Unique Development Paths
Path of the Warrior Controls health, resistance, melee damage and knockback. Experience is gained by killing enemies with melee weapons - the more health the enemy has, the more experience you earn.
Path of the Rogue Manages ranged combat, dodge chance and special abilities like backstab damage bonus. Experience is awarded for kills with ranged weapons, scaled by the target's health.
Path of the Mage Governs the six elements added by RPG Wizards mod and also affects experience gain. Magical power is developed through spell kills.
Path of the Explorer Controls movement speed, jump height and luck. Unlocks game-changing abilities: on-demand teleportation, 20-block jumps, or phasing through walls. However, each powerful ability comes with serious drawbacks - choose wisely. Experience is given for opening naturally generated chests.
Path of the Miner Increases resource gathering efficiency and reduces anvil repair costs. Allows swimming in lava at sufficient levels. Experience is earned by mining - the rarer the material, the greater the reward.
Technical Details
Origins Compatibility
The modification is designed for play without activated Origin races. All abilities are balanced around the concept that the player is human. If Origins is not configured accordingly, imbalances and ability conflicts may occur. In the recommended modpack, Origins is pre-configured to allow only human race.
Difficulty Balance
To compensate for character enhancement through the skill tree, we strongly recommend adding mods that increase combat difficulty. In the author's modpack, this issue is resolved through pre-configured additional difficulty mechanics.
Design Approach
The ability descriptions feature the author's signature humor with references to popular culture. Some jokes turned out well, others are more experimental. If this style of presentation doesn't appeal to you, this modification might not be your choice.
