Chunk-Pregenerator
Chunk-Pregenerator is a powerful tool for optimizing world generation in Minecraft. The mod allows pre-generating chunks, significantly improving server efficiency and enhancing the gaming experience.
Key Features
User-Friendly Interface
The mod features an intuitive interface with command auto-completion, comprehensive documentation, color-coded logging, and convenient graphical control elements.
Multi-Threaded Generation
Utilizes multiple processor cores for simultaneous chunk generation, significantly accelerating world creation through independent processing of various generation stages.
Parallel Multi-Dimension Processing
Ability to generate chunks in different dimensions simultaneously without mutual impact on processing speed, provided sufficient computational resources are available.
Play During Generation
The mod is designed to run in the background, allowing continued gameplay during world generation. The process runs in a separate thread, minimizing impact on game performance.
Optimized Chunk Verification
Fast algorithms for checking chunk status with additional background checks that don't interfere with gameplay.
Efficient Memory Management
Intelligent control of RAM usage with automatic elimination of known Minecraft memory leaks and optimization of generation tasks.
Retrogeneration
Unique capability to regenerate existing chunks in Minecraft versions 1.14 and newer, particularly useful when updating mods or changing world settings.
Integrated Profiler (for versions 1.12 and older)
Graphical interface for real-time performance monitoring, including tracking block updates, active entities, and ticks.
Dimension Management (1.16 and newer)
Ability to disable and enable dimensions during gameplay, helping optimize server resource usage.
Dimension-Specific Seeds (1.19 and newer)
Configuration of unique seeds for each dimension through the "pregen_seeds.json" configuration file.
Mass Generation Warnings
Execution Time
Generating large worlds requires significant time. For example, a 1000-chunk radius may take 24-48 hours, while 2000 chunks could take a week or more depending on modifications.
Storage Requirements
A world with a 300-chunk radius can occupy several gigabytes. For large-scale generation, having at least 1 TB of free space is recommended.
Testing
Before full-scale generation, testing the process on a smaller radius is recommended to identify potential issues.
Process Monitoring
Constant tracking of generation progress through system messages is necessary for timely response to possible failures.
