Installation
Be sure to install Forestry first. Install Red Gear Core version 2.0.2 or higher. Place the More Backpacks.jar file in the mods folder. In the configuration files, you can easily enable or disable the desired backpacks and change item identifiers if necessary.
Backpack Content Configuration
To customize the item list for a specific backpack, navigate to the config/redgear/morebackpacks folder. There you will find .json format files for each backpack. Open the desired file in a text editor.
The files contain two main parameters:
- backpackKey — backpack name
- items — list of allowed items using the 1.7 item registration system
Entry syntax: "modId:itemName@meta", where "@meta" is optional, and its absence permits any meta values.
After making changes, save the file and restart the game. Deleting the file will restore the default settings.
