Charset Block Carrying

Charset Block Carrying is a module of the popular Charset project that implements a completely new mechanic for carrying entire blocks in Minecraft.

Main Features

This module allows players to pick up and carry almost any blocks from vanilla game, Charset itself, and other popular modifications like Quark. The system is extremely flexible: through configuration files or using CraftTweaker, you can create whitelists and blacklists of blocks that can be carried.

When carrying a heavy object, you'll notice some limitations: movement speed is significantly reduced, sprinting becomes unavailable, and item usage is temporarily blocked. However, the effect of a Strength potion can partially compensate for the slowdown.

Game realism is enhanced by interesting details: falling from a great height or taking damage from a mob will forcibly make you drop the carried block. Another impressive feature is the ability to load and unload chests, barrels, and similar containers into minecarts while fully preserving their contents.

Balance is maintained even when carrying mob spawners - they continue to work in the player's hands, periodically spawning hostile creatures, so it's recommended to take a partner for such tasks.

The system is fully compatible not only with the basic locking functionality but also with locks from Charset Storage Locks.
