Cavernous-X-Patched
IMPORTANT: Requires the Patched mod to work correctly.
This project represents an adapted version of the popular Cavernous datapack by Thxlotl, specifically redesigned for compatibility with other mods through EnderTurret's Patched system.
Installation
The package already contains a version of Cavernous, so you simply need to install the datapack along with the Patched mod. If you're using mods or datapacks that add custom biomes via overworld.json (such as Terralith), no additional steps are required.
However, if you're using only Geoliphic, Tectonic, or WWOO without Terralith, a special fix may be needed for proper biome functionality.
Compatibility
The project has been tested with:
- Terralith (version 2.5.9)
- Tectonic/Terratonic (version 3.0.0)
- WWOO (version 2.44)
Technically compatible with Minecraft version 1.20.1 (for version 1.5, newer versions not supported). Some elements may not work correctly, but world generation should function normally.
Features
In this version, geysers are disabled by default as they're not universally popular, but you can easily re-enable them - they remain in the pack, just deactivated. The introductory message has also been removed to avoid disrupting gameplay.
