CaveBlock
The CaveBlock modification offers players the opportunity to test themselves in underground survival conditions. Finding yourself deep underground, you'll need to gather resources, craft items, and gradually expand your subterranean domain.
Development and maintenance are handled by BONNe.
Installation and Configuration
For proper operation, you need to:
- Install the BentoBox platform and run the server to create necessary folders
- Place the modification file in the BentoBox plugin's addons folder
- Restart the server to activate the addon
- After the first launch, game worlds and configuration file config.yml will be created
- Stop the server to make changes to settings
- Configure parameters in config.yml according to your preferences
- If necessary, delete automatically created worlds if configuration changes might affect them
- Launch the server with updated settings
Configuration and Management
The main config.yml file contains all necessary parameters for setting up the game mode. Each parameter is accompanied by detailed comments for easy configuration.
The command system varies depending on the player's role. [player_command] commands are for regular participants, while [admin_command] commands are for administrators. For example, in CaveBlock, the standard command for players is cave, and for administrators - cba.
It's important to note that the modification allows changing player command aliases through the configuration file. Although BentoBox provides a basic set of subcommands, each modification can add its own additional commands.
