BuddingCrystals
The BuddingCrystals modification transforms the process of growing crystalline resources similarly to amethyst buds, creating renewable sources of valuable materials and making amethysts more accessible through the addition of crafting recipes for their budding blocks.

Built-in Resources
The current version of the mod already includes the following resources from vanilla Minecraft:
- Redstone
- Diamonds
- Emeralds
- Lapis Lazuli
- Glowstone
- Nether Quartz
- Prismarine
Mods and Resources from Other Developers
Applied Energistics 2
- Certus Quartz
- Fluix
Mekanism
- Salt
- Fluorite
Custom Crystals
You can create your own crystal types by adding JSON files to the buddingcrystals folder in the game directory. This directory will be automatically created on the mod's first launch. The exact file format is described in the wiki documentation. Important note: for client-server connection, both devices must have identical configuration files.
Configuration
Crafting recipes for budding blocks of built-in materials can be individually disabled through the common configuration file.
Game Balance
Currently, the modification is not balanced. Growth probability and resource drop quantities for all crystals match those of regular amethysts:
- 1 in 5 chance of growth on each random tick
- 2 crystals dropped when mining a cluster
- 4 crystals dropped when using a tool with the minecraft:cluster_max_harvestables tag
If you have suggestions for balancing, they can be submitted in the project's GitHub repository.
