Bubble Boots
Imagine having two oversized bubble generators attached to your feet — that's the basic concept this addon offers!
Bubble boots can be obtained from master armorers. When there's air beneath the player, the boots automatically create bubble blocks below them. Using soap in hand or walking on soap blocks "recharges" the soapiness level of this item while you're wearing it. This is primarily a utility item for traversal: the boots have no durability and cannot be enchanted. When the soapiness level drops below a certain threshold, they start emitting more soapy particles as a warning. Players in stealth mode do not create bubble blocks.
Armor stands (and other mobs) wearing soapy bubble boots also emit soapy particles, which can be useful for creating an atmospheric source of rising soap bubbles.
Configuration
The modification offers flexible settings. You can change the following parameters:
- Maximum soapiness level of boots
- Amount of soapiness restored per bar of soap
- Whether walking on soap blocks restores soapiness level
- Whether water and rain reset soapiness level to zero (disabled by default)
- Whether soapy boots cause player slipping like when walking on soap blocks (disabled by default but surprisingly fun)
- Whether armorers sell bubble boots
- Soapiness threshold below which more particles are emitted
- Whether boots emit soapy particles at all
Requires Moonlight 1.19.2-2.3.4+, Supplementaries 1.19.2-2.4.5+, and Blueprint 6.2.0+.
