Bouncy Balls - Bouncy Balls for Minecraft
This amazing modification was born thanks to my six-year-old son. Although many of my projects were created at his request, it was these bouncy balls that seemed so fun to me that I decided to share them with the whole world!
To create colorful bouncy balls, you'll need a crafting table. Place 4 slime balls in the cardinal directions (north, south, east, west), and add any dye from the standard game in the center. As a result, you'll get a bouncy ball of the corresponding color.

By default, balls bounce only off hard surfaces. Grass, dirt, sand, and similar blocks don't allow them to bounce. But slime and honey blocks enhance the bounce, making it even more spectacular!
The behavior of the balls can be customized using datapacks. The modification adds three block tags:
- increases_bounce
- dampens_bounce
- infinibounce
The balls bounce in random directions and demonstrate fairly realistic physics, if I may say so.
Throw strength depends on how long you hold the right mouse button, accompanied by corresponding animation - very similar to trident mechanics.
There is also a rainbow bouncy ball. To create it, place balls of the following colors in each crafting grid slot: red, orange, yellow, lime, green, light blue, blue, magenta, and purple.
Feel free to use these fun items in your modpacks!
Enjoy the game!
