Bottle Your Xp (Legacy Fabric)

This mod is part of the The Vanilla Experience collection and is intended for Fabric versions 1.16 and 1.17. For newer versions of Forge and Fabric 1.18+, the main project page is available.

For the mod to work, the library mod Collective (Fabric) and Fabric API are required.

Bottle Your Xp is a minimalistic configurable mod that allows you to create experience bottles (bottles o' enchanting) from your gathered experience. To do this, simply sneak and right-click with an empty bottle in hand. Optionally (configurable in settings), the process may damage the player as the procedure might not be entirely painless.

Configuration Settings

damageOnCreation (default = true): If enabled, damages the player when creating an experience bottle.

halfHeartDamageAmount (default = 1, min 1, max 20): The amount of damage the player takes when creating an experience bottle (in half-hearts).

rawXpConsumedOnCreation (default = 10, min 0, max 100): The amount of raw experience required to create one experience bottle. Be careful when setting this value too low, as it may lead to experience duplication.
