Boiled One: Unleashed

The Boiled One: Unleashed mod introduces a terrifying new entity called Boiled One into the game. This entity appears shortly after a Broadcast Interference event, spawning near the player and silently observing them.

Behavior Features

Initially, Boiled One behaves passively but becomes aggressive during direct eye contact. While it doesn't chase the player while being watched, looking away for too long is dangerous. Prolonged observation of the creature may trigger Boiled One Syndrome - a progressive condition that can lead to fatal Locked-In Syndrome.

Protection and Interaction

The only known item providing protection against Boiled One is the Christian Bible. This book can destroy the creature within a 10-block range or remove the syndrome effect.

Technical Details

The mod was created using MCreator and requires Geckolib installation for proper operation. Versions are available for Minecraft 1.19.2, 1.19.4, and 1.20.1.

Spawning Conditions

Boiled One only appears after a Broadcast Interference event, which can occur during the day in specific moon phases. The creature generates in the Overworld or Nether near the player. Sometimes its appearance is accompanied by a trumpet sound.

Syndrome Mechanics

When looking at Boiled One, there's a chance to get the "Boiled One Syndrome" effect, which has three stages:

• Stage 1: A stalking version of the creature may appear during sleep
• Stage 2: Weakness, slowness, and mining fatigue appear, trumpet sounds become more frequent
• Stage 3: The player becomes completely paralyzed (Locked-In Syndrome), and Boiled One spawns nearby and kills them

The effect can be removed using milk or a Christian bible.

Game Settings

To disable the creature's natural despawn, set the "boiledOneDespawn" game rule to true. To force spawn activation, use the "enableBoiledOneSpawn" rule or a special item in creative mode.

More About Boiled One

The creature appears slow and observant, has high health, and deals significant damage. When the player approaches or makes direct eye contact, it becomes aggressive, increasing speed even in water. However, when maintaining visual contact from more than 5 blocks away, it cannot move.

Christian Bible

The Christian bible destroys Boiled One within a 10-block radius. Otherwise, the book removes the syndrome effect and resets the creature's spawn. After use, the bible disappears.
