Block Safe - Can't mine this

The Block Safe modification creates protection against breaking blocks that the player cannot properly harvest. There are exceptions for certain objects - for example, leaves, glass and other blocks that normally require silk touch or shears for collection.

How it works

Players can only break blocks for which they have the appropriate tool. At the same time, the harvest level is not taken into account - this means that obsidian can still be broken with a wooden pickaxe, although the process will take a long time and will not yield resources.

Blocks like logs and planks that have effective tools but do not require their mandatory use can still be harvested by hand.

If a block's hardness is 1, it can be broken by hand, even if it cannot be properly harvested. This allows breaking glass and even netherrack without special tools.

Application

The mod is excellent for RPG servers as it forces players to use the right tools for resource gathering. It also provides opportunities for creating prisons without the risk that prisoners will simply punch through iron bars with their fists.
