Better Frost Walker
This mod significantly enhances the standard Frost Walker enchantment in Minecraft, adding numerous useful features.
Main Features
The mod expands the capabilities of the Frost Walker enchantment with the following functions:
- Running and Jumping - You can now run and jump on water without losing the ice trail
- Boats - When riding a boat while wearing enchanted boots, ice will form under your vessel
- Lava Walking - The enchantment works not only on water but also on lava, creating an obsidian surface
- Enhanced Levels - Higher enchantment levels are available for boots
- Stationary Ice Formation - Ice continues to form beneath you even when standing still
- Powdered Snow Protection - Like leather boots, enchanted boots prevent falling through powdered snow
- No Fall Damage - Falling on icy surfaces doesn't cause damage
- Constant Melting - Ice melts even during nighttime
Settings and Compatibility
Most features can be configured using the /frostConfig command in-game. For the lava walking feature to work, the mod must be installed on both the server and clients. If this feature isn't needed, you can set the serverSideOnly parameter to true, allowing the mod to be used only on the server without requiring installation on clients.
