Bedrock Features
This mod adds various features to Minecraft Java Edition that are already present in Bedrock Edition, creating greater compatibility between the two game versions.
Main Features
- Dye Cauldrons - ability to dye water in cauldrons using dyes
- Potion Cauldrons - cauldrons can be filled with various potions
- Stackable Cakes - cakes can now be stacked in inventory
- Enhanced Pufferfish - improved characteristics of pufferfish as a food item
- Enhanced Sharpness Enchantment - improved effectiveness of Sharpness enchantment
- Dyeable Shulkers - shulkers can be dyed in different colors
- Magic Bypasses Protection - magical attacks bypass Protection enchantment
- Fertilizable Sugar Cane - sugar cane can be accelerated with bone meal
- Movable Anvils - anvils can be pushed by pistons
- Jukeboxes with Redstone - jukeboxes emit redstone signal during music playback
- Jukeboxes with Hoppers - jukeboxes can be used together with hoppers
- Enhanced Charged Creepers - charged creepers can drop more than one mob head
- Cauldron Filling - cauldrons with dyes and potions can be filled using dripstone and rain
Configuration
Almost all mod features can be configured through the configuration file /config/bedrock_features.toml.
Some configuration specifics:
- Magic bypassing protection is disabled by default
- Shulker dyeing is available only in creative mode by default
- Jukebox interaction with hoppers is not configurable
- Charged creepers can drop unlimited heads by default
- Filling cauldrons with dyes and potions through dripstone and rain is disabled by default
